Civil-Military Health Initiative “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” Organized at Majdass, Kargil | |
Kargil, October 15 (Scoop News)- A comprehensive Civil-Military Health Initiative under the banner “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan – Life is Beautiful with Family” was successfully organized today at Karkit Majdass, Kargil. The camp was a joint effort of the Chanigund Battalion, Kargil, in coordination with the Military Hospital Kargil and the District Hospital Kargil, aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and fostering stronger civil-military relations.

New Delhi, October 15 (Scoop News)-The Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohammad Jaffer Akhoon, today visited the Ladakh Bhawan Kargil Wing located at Plot No. HAF-2, Sector 18A, Dwarka Phase II, Opposite Engineers Apartment, New Delhi, to review the progress of ongoing construction works.
During the inspection, Dr. Akhoon was accompanied by the Superintendent Engineer, CPWD; Executive Engineer, CPWD; Assistant Engineers (Civil and Electrical), CPWD; Assistant Engineer, PWD (R&B) Kargil; and the project contractor.

Leh, October 15 (Scoop News)-Chief Secretary of UT Ladakh, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, presided over the 13th Union Territory Level Bankers Committee (UTLBC) meeting held in Leh. The meeting focused on the performance of banks in the UT for the quarter ending June 2025.
The meeting highlighted that priority sector advances in UT Ladakh achieved 39% of the annual credit target, disbursing ₹3,447.5 crore. Under the non-priority sector, banks achieved 40% of the target, disbursing ₹3,128.6 crore.
