1 death; 140 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh
293 patients cured and discharged

Leh,(Ladakh), April 28 (Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 140 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 129 reports were received by CMO Leh and 11 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
With the death report of one more patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 139; 95 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 293 patients yesterday. Out of which 285 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and eight patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1703; 1601 in Leh district and 102 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 735 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 61 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Monday.
