Police arrests drug peddler in Baramulla; Psychotropic substances recovered | |
Srinagar, January 24 (Scoop News)-Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession
A Police party of Police Station Pattan headed by SHO PS Pattan at a checkpoint established near GDC Pattan, intercepted a person identified as Showkat Ahmad Bhat son of Gulzar Ahmad resident of Yakhmanpora Pattan. During search, 19 syrups of banned drugs (Cocas Dx) was recovered from his possession and was subsequently arrested.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Pattan and investigations have been initiated.
