Police books 02 notorious drug peddler under PIT NDPS Act | Arrests 03 drug peddlers in Baramulla & Awantipora |
Srinagar, June 07 (Scoop News)-Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, police have booked two (02) notorious drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act in Kulgam besides, arrested 03 drug peddlers/smugglers in Baramulla & Awantipora.
The notorious drug peddlers namely Khursheed Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Ismail Bhat resident of Sopat Devsar, Kulgam & Abdul Rashid Dar son of Late Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Nillow, Kulgam have been booked under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from Divisional Commissioner Kashmir vide order No's; DIVCOM-"K"/69/2023 Dated 31-05-2023 & DIVCOM-"K"/70/2023 Dated 31-05-2023. | Apni Party deputation meets family members of terror attack victim Deepu | Manjit Singh demands Govt job for Deepu’s wife; approach road, clean drinking water, construction of concrete house | Majalata, June 06 (Scoop News)-A deputation of Apni Party leaders led by Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister S. Manjit Singh today met deceased family members of Deepak Kumar also known as Deepu who was killed by terrorists recently in Anantnag and extended support to the next of kins of the deceased.
Deepu was a circus worker who was killed near Jagland Mandi in Anantnag town.
To express their solidarity with the bereaved family members, the Apni Party leaders led by S. Manjit Singh met the family members at their village in Thail village in Bilaspur Majalta following directions from Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari sahib.

Srinagar, June 06 (Scoop News)-Power Controller Kashmir has informed that, the power supply to Receiving Stations Narbal and Sanoor shall remain affected due to carry out Augmentation works of 33 Kv line on June 10 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Similarly, in order to carry out erection of ST poles the power supply to receiving stations Sangam-I, Sangam-II, Tral-I, Tral-II, Awantipora, Airport and Narwar shall remain affected on June 12 and 13 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Likewise, in order to carry out Evacuation of Power from Delina GSS the power supply to receiving stations Delina, Jetty and Spore 2nd shall remain affected on June 08, 12 and 14 from 9 am to 3 pm.

Srinagar, June 06 (Scoop News)-As a part of Civic Action Programme, Police in Sopore have distributed school kits among the needy students at Dak Bungalow Sopore.
On the occasion, SDPO Sopore Shri Raies Ahmad-JKPS, SHO Police Station Sopore, IC PP Bus Stand, IC PP Fruit Mandi and IC PP Warpora were present.
While interacting with the students, Sopore Police assured them of all possible support in future as well and advised the students to concentrate in their studies and also take part in extracurricular activities.

| World environment day : clean dal campaign organized by chinar corps | | Srinagar, June 05 (Scoop News)- On the occasion of world Environment day, Indian Army along with district administration, organized 'CLEAN DAL CAMPAIGN'.
Dal Lake, Srinagar is a major tourist spot of Kashmir which attracts lacs of tourists from around the world. However the tourism has also affected its ecological system due to increased pollution leading to growth of weed. Indian Army carried out a cleanliness drive displaying its commitment towards adoption and steering of good practices in environment conservation.
