Samba, April 08 (Scoop News)-The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) SC Cell Chairman, Vijay Lochan, today reiterated that the upliftment of the Scheduled Caste (SC) community remains the cornerstone of the party’s vision and mission.
Addressing a convention of the party’s SC wing at Garh Mandi, Samba, Lochan highlighted the historic reforms introduced under the leadership of Sheikh Abdullah, including land-to-the-tiller policies, liquidation of rural indebtedness, abolition of jagirdari and muafi systems, protection of tenant rights, and wage enhancements for labourers.
