| BJPMM District Samba held virtual meeting | |
Jammu, May 01 (Scoop News)-A virtual meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha (BJPMM) of District Samba was chaired by JKUT Mahila Morcha Media Secretary & Prabhari District Samba, Prerna Nanda, alongwith District President Mahila Morcha Sonia Thakur via virtual conference. She interacted with Monika, Monika Jamwal, Payal, Radha, Neeru, Kanta Devi, Arti Sharma District General Secretary and all General Secretaries of Mandals.
Prerna Nanda applauded the significant role played by Mahila Morcha Samba and praised their selflessness and dedicated service towards the public of their areas during first wave of the COVID-19. She said that during this period of second wave, the women activists must reach out to the people, especially those living in remote and far flung areas and help them in providing food, medical assistance and other essential items to the needy. She asked the women activists to make people aware about all the Do's and Don'ts related to COVID-19. There are many who are propagating misinformation among the people which must be countered with facts, she added. People need to follow Covid 19 protocols seriously to control its spread. She stressed on the need to get vaccinated as the second wave is spreading faster and we all must be careful and cautious about it.
Sonia Thakur asserted that due to second wave of spike in situation is awful and for this she recommended double masking and asked to follow the guidelines of government to fight with COVID 19.
Mahila Morcha Mandal Presidents assured all possible support to the people during the ongoing pandemic.
