229 beneficiaries given 1st dose of vaccine shots on day 1st of COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for 18-44 age group in Kargil

Kargil, May 15 (Scoop News)-As a part of the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for beneficiaries of the 18 to 44 years age group in Ladakh UT starting today, 229 beneficiaries were inoculated with the 1st dose of COVID-19 Vaccination at District Headquarter Kargil and Medical Block Drass here today.
According to the District Immunization Officer (DIO) Kargil Dr Muhammad Abbass, 155 beneficiaries were given the vaccine shots at 2 fixed session sites in Kargil town at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil while 74 beneficiaries were inoculated through the dedicated mobile team at medical block Drass.
Moreover, as per further details made available by the DIO, Kargil 32 frontline workers, 6 persons above 60 years of age and 23 persons from 45 to 59 years were given the 1st dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today, while 18 beneficiaries above 60 years received the 2nd shots of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, the registration process for vaccination for 18 to 44 years age group is available online on www.cowin.gov.in or Aarogya Setu App, and maximum vaccination per vaccine session site will be 100 vaccination doses per day.
