| Kidnapping and Rape Accused; 15th Absconder Apprehended: Reasi Police | |
Jammu, June 09 (Scoop News)-Team of Police Station Arnas arrested a kidnapping and Rape accused who had gone underground since January 2021
Accused Ghulam Hussan S/O Mohd Hussain R/O Thub Thanol Tehsil Thakerakote (Arnas) Reasi who was absconding in Case FIR no 05/2021 Dated 14 Jan 2021 U/S 366, 376 IPC Police Station Arnas, after the Commission of heinous crime of kidnapping 21 years old Rubina (name changed) & repeatedly raping her in custody along with another accomplice.
One accused was immediately arrested while accused Ghulam Hussan evaded investigation by going underground & couldn’t be apprehended since the registration of FIR in January 2021 as he was changing his hideouts in militancy affected districts of Shopian & Kulgam in South Kashmir.
By meticulously planning & coordinated efforts, Reasi Police chased the accused till his arrest.
Arnas Police team had already apprehended other accused Nissar Hussain S/O Mohd Hussain (elder brother of Ghulam Hassan) in the same case and challaned the said case on 01/03/21 while Ghulam Hussain could not be apprehended and was challaned U/S 299 IPC.
On arrest of 15th absconder by Reasi Police, Sh Mohd Suleman Choudhari IPS, Deputy Inspector General Police, Udhampur-Reasi Range has expressed his satisfaction & praise for the Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi & his team.
SSP Reasi Sh Shailender Singh has geared up his whole police team & has resolved to leave no stone unturned to put hard core & long absconding criminals to justice by arresting & producing them before respective Hon’ble courts for judicial determination of their cases trial under laid down procedure of the law of the land.
