| Balwan Singh supports Domana residents against Liquor Shop in the area | |
Jammu July 21 (Scoop News)- Th. Balwan Singh Ex-MLA & General Secretary JKPCC has supported the local residents of Domana against the opening of Liquor Shop in the residential locality and urged the authorities to look into the issue immediately.
A delegation of prominent persons of the locality met the senior congress leader and Former MLA Th. Balwan Singh and explained to him the attempts to open a liquor shop in the residential locality against norms and wishes of the residents.
They alleged inaction on the part of the authorities leading to the resentment of the people in the area. They also met the authorities including Excise Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and others in this regard.
The delegation included Shamsher Singh Ex-Sarpanch, Rajveer Singh Sarpanch Bhalwal, Ch. Raj Hussain Ex-Naib Sarpanch Domana, Bodh Raj Bhagat, Subash Singh Naib Sarpach Domana, Madan Lal Ex-Sarpanch Domana, Prof. Som Dutt, Capt. Gunni Ram and others.
They said that people of area are agitating against this move and would launch a stir in this regard against opening of liquor shop, if the authorities failed to take appropriate action.
