| Disseminate information about people centric schemes: Rakesh Mahajan | |
Jammu, September 14 (Scoop News)-Rakesh Mahajan, In-charge All Cells, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir convened a meeting of three cells of the party namely Professional Cell, Refugee Cell and All Cells, Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir. Rajeev Gupta CA Convener Professional Cell, Ashok Khajuria Convener Refugee Cell and Ved Sharma, Co-Convener All Cells BJP J&K were present in the meeting chaired by Rakesh Mahajan.
During the meeting Convener Professional Cell, Rajeev Gupta CA said that the Cell has been working vigorously right upto the grass roots level making the people aware about the common people centric policies of the PM Modi led Govt. After listening to the briefing by Rajeev Gupta CA, Rakesh Mahajan, In-charge All Cells, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) advised the Convenor to ensure massive dissemination of information about the schemes rolled out by the Central Govt for the common people besides making the related literature available at all BJP offices and booths right upto the grass roots level.
Convener Refugee Cell, Ashok Khajuria detailed the In-charge All Cells Rakesh Mahajan about the functioning of the cell in full coordination with the workers and activists on ground. He highlighted the issues pertaining to POK refugees and 5300 people living outside Jammu and Kashmir which he asserted need to be addressed on priority. He said that there is a dire need to draw an appropriate road map for getting domicile certificates to such people and get them settled in Jammu that would also further strengthen the vote bank of the party. He also emphasized upon the need to address the issue of compensation to the people whose land falls within the area between LoC and Pakistan border as the same has not been paid till date.
The All Cells Co-Convener, Ved Sharma while addressing the meeting said that he is already focussing on the perfect coordination among various Cells of the party as that is a sin qua non for achieving the desired results. He ensured the In-Charge All Cells BJP, Rakesh Mahajan that he would work devotedly work as per his guidance and directions and would leave no stone unturned in further strengthening the party to an unprecedented level.
In his address during the meeting In-charge All Cells Rakesh Mahajan said that today’s meeting was in continuation of series of meetings held as part of the awareness campaign launched by BJP about the party’s people centric schemes besides enhancing the vote bank upto the grass roots level. He directed the Conveners and Co-Conveners to maintain 24X7 presence among the people in their respective areas to provide the succour to the needy. Urging for regular meetings of In-charge cells, Conveners and Co-Conveners besides Zila Prabharis, he informed that he along with the senior party cadre shall be conducting regular visits in their respective areas on ground henceforth.
