| Devender Rana, Surjit Slathia accorded warm welcome at BJP heaquarter | |
Jammu, October 17 (Scoop News)- Devender Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Slathia were accorded warm welcome at J&K BJP headquarter on Sunday after their joining in BJP’s National headquarter, New Delhi earlier.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by J&K BJP Co-Incharge Ashish Sood, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Minister Sat Sharma, former MLC Ashok Khajuria, General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, General Secretaries Adv. Vibodh Gupta & Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and other senior party leaders welcomed both earlier NC stalwarts into BJP at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Shakti Parihar, Sham Lal Sharma, Aseem Gupta, Chander Prakash Ganga, Rajeev Jasrotia, Priya Sethi, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, Keshav Dutt, Arvind Gupta, Rajeev Sharma, Pawan Gupta, Sanjita Dogra and others party senior leaders also welcomed them in the party fold.
Ravinder Raina, while welcoming Devender Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Slathia termed them as experienced & seasoned politicians who have earlier served as political stalwarts in National Conference. He said that today the BJP activists are happily welcoming them into the BJP family. He said that to reach this stage, BJP predecessors have sacrificed their lives in the long history of struggle for “Ek Vidhaan, Ek Nishaan, Ek Pradhaan”. He recalled the contributions of Maharaja Hari Singh ji, Pt. Prem Nath Dogra ji and others, he said that Pt. Nehru led Congress and Shikh Abdullah led National Conference made Maharaja Hari Singh ji to suffer as Maharaja strongly batted for Independence of India from British at every occasion including Round Table conference.
Raina said that BJP has always stood for restoring the pride of the Nationalists and erected Statues, monuments and developed parks on the name of Maharaja. He said that BJP led by Modi ji removed the wall of hatred-Articles 370 & 35(a) that prevented the J&K and particularly Jammu region from deserved development. He said that today, with the strong dedication of BJP leaders Jammu is on the path of model development with the AIIMS, IIIM, IIT, Central Universities, Express Highways, Bridges, Ring Roads and much more. He said that only BJP is capable of doing justice to all the earlier neglected areas and sections and this is the reasons the leaders of such stature are attracted to BJP in order to serve the people in a better way.
Ashish Sood, while welcoming both leaders into the party fold said that BJP is the only party dedicated to serve the people while meeting their aspirations. He said that BJP believes in serving the society and Nation while taking all along those who are like minded. He said that it is really a proud moment that today more mass leaders from Jammu & Kashmir have joined the ranks of BJP to work dedicatedly with a vision for the wholesome development of J&K. He stressed that the party believes that both the leaders will do justice with the aspirations of masses while working dedicatedly keeping the party principles in their minds.
Jugal Kishore Sharma welcoming them into party fold said that BJP believes in “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwaas”. He said that he is looking forward for more dedicated work from both the leaders for raising the voice of people and strengthening the organization.
Devender Rana while thanking the senior BJP leaders for their warm welcome said that he is overwhelmed. He said that BJP has got the dedicated and selfless cadre which had formed the strong base of BJP in the whole Nation and now under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the stature of Indians have grown in the whole world. He said that while working in NC, he was ignored while speaking for the cause of Jammu and now he has joined BJP to raise the voice for his own people at right platform.
Surjit Slathia said that he has now joined the BJP with a vision to work for a cause. He said that he will work like a soldier in the party. He said that he will work dedicatedly on the party lines along all other BJP leaders for raising the voice of Jammu.
