Ravinder seeks investigation into supply of sub standard fertilizer
shortage of fertilizer and seeds to farmers in Sunderbani


Jammu, November 25 (Scoop News)- Former MLC and Chief spokesperson JK Congress Mr Ravinder Sharma has expressed concern over the supply of sub standard quality of Fertilizer besides shortage of required quantity of seeds and fertilizer in Sunderbani- Nowshera and several other parts of Rajouri district.
Interacting with the farmers in sunderbani today Mr Ravinder Sharma lashed out at govt for failure to supply adequate quantity and standard quality seed and fsrtlizeer to the farmers in the area as large scale complaints have been received in this regard.
He was apprised by the farmers about the great difficulties being faced by them in getting the required quality and quantity of seeds and ferilizers and complained about poor quality fertilizer in the area.. He sought investigation into allegations of poor quality fertilizer besides meeting the shortages of seeds and fertilizer as farmers are suffering and would loose their crop yields in the absence of timely sowing.
Senior Congress Leader regretted the policy of neglect towards the farming community by the BJP guided UT administration which is not concerned about the plight of fermers ,who are backbone of rural economy and feed the entire population.
The BJP government failed to establish the fruit and vegetables Mandies in Sunderbani and Nowshera which were sanctioned during previous Congress government besides failure to carry forward the work on Beripattan lift irrigation scheme satarted by him in 2013.This shows neglect and least priroty of the BJP government towards the issues of farmers and the slogan of enhancing the income of farmers to double, has proved ti be another jumla of Modi government, he added.
Those present include District president Jk Kissan Congress Vinod Sharma, Block presidents N C Sharma, Sdr Ajit Singh, Tirth Ram Chuni Lal, Capt Babu Ram,Yog Raj, Om Parkash, Mohinder Singh, Puran Chand, Mohan Lal, Satish Kunar and others.
