Communal Harmony Week, Flag Day
GPGCW Gandhi Nagar organises series of online, offline activities

Jammu, November 25 (Scoop News)-A week-long series of activities were organised by NSS Units of Government PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar to observe Communal Harmony Week and Flag Day from 19- 25th of November to promote the ethos of communal harmony and national integration.
The NSS volunteers under the patronage of Principal Dr. Sangita Nagari and supervision of NSS Programme Officers- Prof. Mala Bhasin and Dr. Monika Hans hosted a series of activities on the common theme- Communal Harmony and National Integration.
The online and offline activities hosted by the college included Poster making, Slogan Writing, Essay Writing, Cleanliness drive, Rangoli Making and a Debate competition which witnessed participation of 30 volunteers.
Applauding the efforts of NSS POs and volunteers, Principal Dr. Sangita Nagari impressed upon the volunteers to work for the betterment of the society and nation as a whole. She emphasized the need for cooperation and unity to promote peace and harmony. The week-long programme concluded with Fundraising on Flag Day. The volunteers participated enthusiastically and collected donations for the noble cause. A common collage of activities was also posted at different social media platforms.
