Panthers Party protests against JDA’s demolition drive


Jammu, Srinagar ,January 13 (Scoop News)-The senior leaders of the Panthers Party visited a small area in Jammu town which was struck by the local administration two days’ back where dozen of small houses were struck down and hundreds of poor people, mostly residing in the deserted land for the past 40 years were thrown out by the administration with families living several kids on the road with their small houses demolished. This was a clean drive campaign in Jammu City.
Prof. Bhim Singh, President of J&K National Panthers Party accompanied by several Panthers Party leaders including its General Secretary Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary-J&K Panthers Trade Union Mr. Neeraj Dewan, State Secretary-Panthers Students Union Mr. Pushkin Antal and others.
All the leaders of the Panthers Party who addressed hundreds of suffering people living for more than 40 years in that area working as daily wagers and earning their food on a day to day basis. They were responding with flood of tears complaining that nobody came from the government to save the wretched of the earth in that deserted area when the administration called Jammu Development Authority (JDA) rattled the huts of these helpless children of Scheduled Tribes-Gujjar, Bakerwals and other nomads.
The Panthers Party leaders blamed none accept the UT government who have been acting as dictators.
Prof. Bhim Singh called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to come and visit these suffering families who have been converted into deserted area by the mindless action of Union Territory which is governed by Modi rule in the State of J&K which was founded by the elders of those whose children and grandchildren were crying for help and safety. Weather did not favour these Scheduled Tribes mostly Gujjar and Bakerwal families and the administration followed the dictates of Jammu rulers under Lt. Governor.
Prof.Bhim Singh invited Prime Minister Modi to take his special aircraft flight to visit Jammu town and wash the tears of the children of these people in Jammu and answer what wrong they have done? Prof. Bhim Singh assured the suffering people including Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and other homeless people that the Panthers Party shall fight for justice and equity for all the people irrespective their caste or colour or political party or religious affiliation because Panthers he said stands for all for equity and justice may he or she be rich or poor starving or suffering for justice. The Panthers Party stands for justice irrespective of the political affiliation or status in the society.
