| Free mask distribution drive held in Sankoo | |  Kargil,January 13 (Scoop News)- On the directions of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sankoo, Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, a free mask distribution drive for public was conducted today at Sankoo in view of the surge in Covid-19 cases.
During the drive, Tehsildar Sankoo, Kaneez Fatima and Naib Tehsildar Muhammad Hussain distributed free masks to the public and appealed them to wear masks besides follow all precautionary measures of Covid-19 in order to help contain the virus spread.
During the drive, both officers visited business establishments and instructed shopkeepers and roadside vendors to follow Covid-19 SOPs while selling the essential commodities.
The officers urged them to mark circles in front of their shops so that customers maintain social distancing norms as it is one of the measures to fight the disease spread.
Furthermore, the officers also warned vendors and shopkeepers to display the rate list in front of their shops for the information of the general public.
