| Udhampur Lok Adalat settles 1010 cases | |
Udhampur, May 14 (Scoop News)-In Compliance to the directions of Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority, a National Lok Adalat was held today here under the Chairmanship of Yash Paul Bourney (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Udhampur) and under the overall Supervision of Sub Judge Rajni Sharma Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur regarding different kind of cases in the Court complex Udhampur.
A total 5 benches were constituted in the District. Bench No. 1 comprised of Yash Paul Bourney (Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur), Suresh Chander Katal (Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Udhampur) and Advocate Pk. Jandial Bench No. 2 Comprised of B.A Munshi (CJM Udhampur), Shafeeq Ahmed (District Judicial Mobile Magistrate), Udhampur, J.D Slathia Bar President, Bench no. 3 Comprised of Preet Simran Kour ( Sub Judge Special Mobile Magistrate, Udhampur), Smt Maleeka Sharma ( Munsiff JMIC), Vijay Lakshmi Advocate, Bench no. 4 comprised of Sub Judge Smriti Sharma Chairman TLSC Ramnagar, Sudesh Kumar Gupta (Lawyer) TLSC Ramnagar, Bench no.5 Comprised of Madhu Sharma (Munsiff JMIC Majalta), Davinder Kumar. The total number of 1248 cases pertaining to different nature were taken up, Out of which 1010 cases were settled. The total Amount recovered is Rs. 10291749.
