| DIPR & NFDC ink MoU for J&K’s First National Film Festival | | Mega Event scheduled for 15th-20th June |
Srinagar, May 20 (Scoop News)- J&K’s Department of Information and Public Relations today inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Film Development Corporation Limited for the upcoming first National Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir.
In the presence of Sh Nitishwar Kumar, Principal Secretary to Lt Governor, the MoU was signed between Sh Akshay Labroo, Director, Department of Information and Public Relations, J&K and Sh D. Ramakrishnan, General Manager, NFDC.
The mega event which is scheduled to be held from 15th to 20th June is being jointly organised by the National Film Development Corporation Limited and Directorate of Information and Public Relations, J&K.
The purpose of the festival is to highlight and promote the creative ecosystem of the UT, besides branding J&K as the most preferred destination for filmmakers from the country and abroad.
Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, CEO, Mission Youth and Ms Tanu Rai, Deputy Director, Directorate of Film Festivals and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
