Abhay Bakaya seeks availability of booster doses in health centres in J&K for 18 to 45 years age group

Jammu, May 21 (Scoop News)-Apni Party Youth Wing State General Secretary Abhay Bakaya today appealed to the Govt to make proper arrangement for booster doses in the Govt as well as private health centres for the people in the age group of 18 to 45 years of age.
In a statement to the press, Abhay said that the people are getting messages on their mobile phones about the booster doses but when they go to the health centres, these doses are not available.
“As there is no clarity, the health department should make it clear when they will make these doses available through public advertisement or other means,” he said.
He said that “The covid19 is in control in J&K but the deadly virus cannot be taken for granted with the casual approach of the health authorities. The department concerned must step in and arrange the proper number of doses.”
He further said that the lives of the people can be protected with the timely booster doses as a part of preparedness before it is too late.
“As the stocks of the booster doses are less, the process of vaccination for the age group of 18 to 45 years of age has slowed down and it has exposed the unvaccinated people of this age group to risk covid19 although the situation is stable,” he said.
