| GDC Drass organizes inter-house cricket competition for boys | |
Kargil, June 18 (Scoop News)- The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Govt. Degree College Drass today organized an inter-house cricket competition for boys which was part of inter-house sports competition 2022 under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav under the supervision of Principal Dr Amjad Ali Abassi.
The first match was played between Tololing House and Tiger Hill House team. The game was tossed by Prof Mumtaz Ahmad in presence of Mustafa Ali, College Director of Physical Education and Sports.
All other faculty members were also present during the event. Master Amin Polo was also present as a guest during the event.
The second match was played between Batra Top House and Manman Top House team right after the first match. The first match was won by Tiger Hill House team and in the second match Manman Top House team emerged as winner.
The final match was played between Tiger Hill House and Manman House in which Tiger Hill House team consecutively won two matches and became the winner of the Cricket Competition.
At the end Mustafa Ali, College Director of Physical Education and Sports congratulated the winning team and all other teams which took part in the tournament.
He urged students to take active part in other sports activities to hone their talent. During the event light refreshment was served among the participating players.
