Stop Harassing People on Name of Eviction Drive : Vikrant Kapoor
Withdraw order or Face Consequences : Hindustan Shiv Sena

Jammu, January 21 (Scoop News)-State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena Vikrant Kapoor today criticized the government over its eviction drive, asking Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to stop harassing general public in the garb of anti-encroachment drives.
Addressing media persons here today State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena Vikrant Kapoor termed the recent Govt. order directing the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to get all the encroachments on State land removed by the 31st of January 2023 as an draconian order just to harass the general public. He said that the present regime is the worst phase of misrule witnessed by the people of Jammu and Kashmir, which has plunged this sensitive region into unprecedented darkness.
Kapoor asserted that the proxy government of BJP in J&K has failed in every front which has worked to drown the people of this sensitive region in an ocean of miseries. He asserted that the present dispensation is pursuing anti-people policies and arbitrarily issuing orders one after the other to further its anti people agenda especially in Jammu and Kashmir.
Kapoor said that majority of State land is being possessed by the poor and economically weaker sections of the society and they are mainly using it for agricultural purposes or at the most for meager shelter. These people have no source of income except the meager returns from the agricultural activity on the land. He said that the protection and welfare of such people is the prime duty of the Government and as such dislodging such people from the State land would amount to gross injustice to them.
He stated that there is uncertainty prevailing in the state and the youth is feeling cheated and betrayed by the policies of govt. He warned the government to desist from harassing common and poor people and withdraw the aforesaid controversial order at the earliest failing which the Hindustan Shiv Sena has no option left to come on roads to save the people from the wrong policies of the government. Kapoor welcome the announcement of LG that govt. will not harrash the common man and the poor people but it should be in the real sense.
Among others who were present include senior leaders of Hindustan Shiv Sena sunil Dabgodra, Anoop Trikha, Baba Ram Kaith, Abhishek, Himanshu, Amit, women's wing leaders Sapna Kohli, Jyoti Devi and others.
