| SDM Zanskar reviews arrangements ahead of Zanskar Winter Sports and Tourism Festival | |
Kargil, January 21 (Scoop News)- Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay today convened a meeting to review arrangements for Zanskar Winter Sports and Tourism Festival (2022-23) to be held from January 28 to February 15.
After threadbare discussions, directions were given to the concerned departments, Lambardars and PRI members to arrange necessary arrangement of food stalls, stages and cultural programs.
It was also informed by the SDM that Union Ministers, Commissioner Secretaries/Secretaries of UT Ladakh and other dignitaries will attend the festival.
The Lambardars and PRI members assured the chair that they will provide all necessary requirements as per directions.
The SDM stressed on all heads of the departments to ensure the presence of all their subordinates before the festival and in case any official is found absent strict action shall be taken.
The meeting was attended by all heads of the departments of the subdivision, President Zanskar Bhuddist Association, president Zanskar Winter Sport Foundation, Snow Ski School, PRI members and Lambardars.
