| 7-Day special winter Camp enters day four at GDC Neeli Nallah | | Awareness lecture on “Female Hygiene” held as part of activities | Udhampur, February 03 (Scoop News)-In continuation of the series of activities being organized as part of Seven Day Special Winter Camp, Government Degree College, Neeli Nallah organised an awareness lecture on “Female Hygiene” on day four of the event.
Dr. Sudesh Kumari Tanoch (Medical Officer, PHC, Hartaryan) was the resource person on the occasion.
In his welcome address, Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the College, stressed that the motive of the lecture was to educate the female students about physical hygiene and also to break the taboos prevalent in society regarding health and hygiene of the females.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sudesh Kumari spoke on vulvovaginal health and hygiene. She also gave information regarding grooming, menopause, ditching and such other concepts related to female hygiene.
While speaking on cervical cancer and Breast cancer, she informed the students regarding the causes, stages, symptoms and preventive measures of the deadly infectious diseases.
Dr. Radha Rani, NSS PO coordinated the programme. Others who were present in the event Prof. Swati Dutt, Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, Dr. Ranjeeta Langeh, Dr. Parul Chibber, Shallu Jamoria and Manisha Kanchru.
