| Army organises Ladakh regional archery competition | | 
Srinagar,March 24 (Scoop News)-Keeping in synchronisation with the aspiration of the youths of the regionand to foster a greater sense of association and belongingness with theIndian Army, STALKERS Battalion under Fire and Fury Corps organised the‘Ladakh Regional Archery Competition 2022-23’ under OperationSadbhavana on 24 March 2023.
The event was conducted at Phyang, Leh and witnessed participation of14 teams of Modern Archery from Leh and Kargil districts. The Winner,Runner-up and best archers of the competition were felicitated by theGeneral Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps. Civil dignitaries to includeMr StanzinChosphel, Hon’ble Executive Councillor (Agriculture) andMr TundupNurbu, Councillor of Phyang Constituency were also witnessedthe competition.
The annual event served as a platform for close interaction between theIndian Army and the local populace and will assist in nurturing the aspirationsof locals.
