| Bhalla alongwith senior leaders visit injured Congress Corporator in GMC | | Condemns murderous attack , seeks stern action against culprits |
Jammu, May 24 (Scoop News)-JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla, alongwith Yogesh Sawhney,Hari Singh Chib,Dwarka Choudhary,NSUI President Ajay Lakhotra,Vijay Shastri,Prithvi Singh, Jatin Vashisht visited GMC Hospital Jammu to enquire about the condition of Rashpal Bhardwaj who got severe head and arm injuries in a murderous attack, last evening.Bhalla condemning the attack on the Congress leader demanded stern action against the culprits.He termed the attack as a serious matter and hoped that police shall act swiftly & arrest the culprits.He wished speedy recovery to the injured Congress corporator. He said that it was unfortunate to see attack on public representative on road to silence the voice of public representatives who highlight issues of the common masses.He said that “The incident has alarmed the members of civil society and elected representatives who represent large population but their voices are being crushed with force which was evident from attack on Congress Corporator.As a public representative, it is imperative for us to raise the voice of the people to highlight their issues. However, it appears the authorities have turned deaf ears towards the issues and it was an attempt to silence the voice of the public representatives,” he added.He strongly condemned the incident and sought a strict action against the culprits who attacked Congress Corporator.
