| Ghulam Nabi Azad condoles demise of Bakerwal family members | |
Srinagar, May 25 (Scoop News)-Chairman Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday expressed condolence over the loss of lives of four members of Bakerwal family after a tree fell on their tent in Kishtwar area.
In a statement, Azad lauded the efforts of locals for launching immediate rescue operation and directed senior party leaders to supervise the rescue work.
“DPAP Vice-Chairman G M Saroori personally monitored the situation and also visited the injured in hospital.”
Azad urged the administration to provide all possible support and compensation to the bereaved families.
Four members of a Bakerwal family were killed after a tree fell on their makeshift tent in Bahlna forests in Kishtwar district last night.
Azad also prayed for the speedy recovery of 11 passengers who were injured in a bus accident in Lakhanpur area of Kathua district on Thursday.
