| ADC Kargil chairs meeting with all HODs to review development activities in Zanskar | |
Kargil, May 25 (Scoop News)- Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-ud-In Wani on Wednesday chaired a meeting at Tourist Dak Bungalow, Padum, Zanskar to review the developmental activities of various departments in the Sub Division.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, BDO, Exen ZDA/R&B, BMO, ZEO, SDAO, LDO, ZPEO, I/C PDD, I/C Hydro Power Project, SBO, TSO, I/C ATO Zanskar were present during the meeting.
Discussion and deliberations were held on various developmental works of the Sub Division and he took details assessment of various activities of departments from concerned HODs.
ADC Kargil directed SDM to ensure that the concerned department provides toilet facilities at all the construction sites for labourers. He also directed to constitute a committee to inspect the facilities at construction sites.
While expressing concern over drug addiction, the ADC stressed ZEO and BMO to conduct awareness programs regarding ill effects of drugs addiction in villages and schools of the Sub Division.
The HODs raised the issues related to their departments and ADC ensured to take up the same with concerned higher authorities. ADC also directed lncharge Haftal Power Project to complete repairing and renovation work of project at the earliest. Later, he directed SDM to inspect the repair work of the project.
