| Police distributes school kits among needy students in Sopore | |
Srinagar, June 05 (Scoop News)-As a part of Civic Action Programme, Police in Sopore have distributed school kits among the needy students at Police Station Tarzoo.
Among other officers, SDPO Sopore, DySP DAR Sopore, SHO Police Station Tarzoo alongwith IC PP Puthkha were also present on the occasion.
SSP Sopore Shri Shabir Nawab-JKPS while interacting with the students, advised them to concentrate in their studies and also take part in extracurricular activities. He also urged the students to remain away from the drug menace and concentrate on your studies.
General public hailed the efforts of Police for helping such needy students. At the end of the event, community members expressed their gratitude for the support provided by the department.
