Apni Party leaders meet Federation of Industries Bari Brahmana | Dr Rohit Gupta seeks amnesty for industrial sector | Jammu, June 07 (Scoop News)-Apni Party Provincial Secretary/District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta has demanded revival of the industrial sector and extension of Govt package to the industries in Jammu and Kashmir. The Apni Party provincial secretary was accompanied by Provincial Secretary Apni Trade Union Jammu Daljit Singh when he met the members of Federation of Industries Bari Brahmana. He said that “Amnesty for the industrial sector of J&K for the recovery under central excise in the matter of notification no 56/2002 dated 14/11/2002 and waive off of the interest and deposit of principal amount in installments.” “The extension of industrial packages should be given to the existing units as is given to the new industrial units. As per the new Govt policy our local micro and small units are unable to compete with the manufactures of other states because of their pro-industrial policies,” he said. He demanded free land hold rights to the SIDCO and SICOP land to the existing unit holds. He appealed to the Lt Governor to intervene in the matter and he also assured that their issues will be forwarded to President Apni Party Syed Altaf Bukhari sahib for taking up at the highest level and redressal of the same. The meeting was attended by Chairman, Federation of Industries, Lalit Mahajan, General Secretary, Viraj Mahajan, President Birpur Industrial Association, Deepak Dhavan, Secretary, Rajesh Jain, Industrialist from Gangyal, T.S Reen, and other industrialists were present during the meeting.
