| DC Doda inspects healthcare facilities of PHC Gundna | | Stresses on optimal Asset utilization | Doda,June 08 (Scoop News)-The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Sh Vishesh Paul Mahajan (KAS), on 07-06-2023 conducted a visit to Govt PHC Gundna in Medical Block Ghat, to assess the quality of medical services, punctuality maintained and patient care being provided by the health institutions.
During the visit, the DDC inspected the ward, OPD and other sections of the hospital and took over all stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients.
The Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Ab Hamid Zargar, apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the staff position and facilities being provided to the patients.
DC also interacted with the patients to understand their healthcare needs and listened to their feedback regarding the quality of healthcare services provided by the hospital. The DC emphasized the importance of providing timely and quality healthcare services to the people of Gundna and its adjoining areas and directed the hospital staff to take necessary measures to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
The DC Doda enjoined upon the entire medical and paramedical staff to serve the patients with utmost dedication and sincerity, so that patients are made to feel comfortable while receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, DC Doda along with CMO Doda also reviewed the progress of under construction work of new PHC building and directed the concerned executing agency to ensure that the project of hospital construction be completed on time and with the highest quality standards.
The DC's visit was aimed to assess the functioning of the public institutions in the area and identify the gaps and challenges that need to be addressed to improve the delivery of essential services to the local community.
