| DOM extended support to Dr Ritu of Delhi University; called out the casteist elements involved | |
Jammu, September 05 (Scoop News)- Today, on behalf of the Dalit OBC minority, a protest was organized in Jammu to support Dr. Ritu ji's struggle and with strong will, loyalty, made invaluable contribution and take this message to other colleagues in cooperation with Dr. Ritu ji. And strongly demanded from the government that Dr. Savita Roy should be expelled and arrested as soon as possible and Dr. Ritu should be reinstated.
DOM President RK Kalsotra while addressing Protest said that at present in all the states of India (regardless of which party the government belongs to) Indian Native Bahujan Samaj (SC-ST-Minority) day by day atrocities-adultery, coercion-oppression are increasing.
Instead of providing justice to the Bahujan Samaj, the administration and police department are involved in giving protection to the culprits, the accused are roaming free and the victims are wandering from door to door for justice because some corrupt people indulged in caste mentality by making caste pawns. The unbearable behavior and harassment continues unabated.
Casteism has become a fascism for the Bahujans. He quoted Rohit Vemula, Payal Tadvi, Prof Dr Chander Shekhar of Jammu University and yesterday another student of IIT Delhi Dr Anil became the victim of caste system & even a UT-J&K Dalit IAS officer Ashok Parmar filed complaint to NCSC of “harassment, humiliation” against L-G, Chief Secretary.
Kalsotra further said that the direct evidence of this has happened in Delhi University Campus, Daulat Ram College, with Dr. Ritu Singh ji (Asst. Professor) that Dr. Savita Rai, Principal of the college and Delhi University V.C.
With the connivance of higher officials, she has been expelled with the intention of humiliating her by making unconfirmed evidence, fake signatures, making absurd allegations.
Dr. Ritu Singh ji complained about this misdeed at the same time.

By such despicable acts
All humanist thinkers are disappointed and angry.
Therefore, the Bahujan samaj is upset with the faltering attitude of the administration and the police department.
For expulsion and arrest of the accused from the college, many Had to sit on an indefinite dharna at Vishwa Vishwavidyalaya (Art Faculty, Gate No. 04) on August 28, 2023.
Today, many social organizations, thinkers, associations, parties, committees supported by sitting on protest at JAMMU in getting proper justice to Dr. Ritu Singh ji.
In this connection, on 5th Nov 2023 Confederation is also organising a mass rally wherein these issues will be raised. The overall theme will be to save constitution and fundamental rights.
