BJP Kashmir Displaced District Recognizes NGOs and SHGs for Community Service


Jammu,February 10 (Scoop News)-BJP Kashmir Displaced District organized a special program today at the Kacchi Chawni office to honor NGOs and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for their outstanding contributions to serving the community. The event, titled Program Shakti Vandan, was led by Smt. Sweety Koul and Chetan Wanchoo, District Convenor and Co-Convenor of the initiative, respectively.

During the event, Ex MLC Ajay Bharti emphasized the importance of women's empowerment, particularly highlighting the strides made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "We must recognize the significant progress made for women's empowerment since 2014. Modi's administration has rightfully elevated the status of women in society," stated Bharti.

Chand ji Bhat, District President, underscored the significance of Program Shakti Vandan, which aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to empower women across the nation.

Vice President Anuradha Charak outlined the program's objectives and laid out a strategy to engage with NGOs and SHGs in preparation for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Charak highlighted that approximately 11 million women's groups, involving around 11 million women, are actively engaged under the Ministry of Rural Development across the country.

Veenu Khanna, State Secretary, commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for initiating various activities and schemes aimed at bolstering women's economic prosperity and well-being in the country.
The event, held at the Kacchi Chawni office, was a testament to the dedication and impact of these organizations in the region.

Each of these entities has demonstrated exceptional commitment and service towards uplifting the community and addressing various social challenges.

In addition to honoring the NGOs and SHGs, BJP Kashmir Displaced District leaders also extended their commendations to Sameer Bhat from ETV, who was recently awarded the State award for his significant contributions.

Prominent figures present at the event included Mandal Adhyaksh Jagti Pyare Lal, District President Mahila Morcha Smt. Dolly Raina, and other esteemed individuals from the community.
