| GDC Vijaypur organises pledge taking ceremony | | Vijaypur,May 31 (Scoop News)-As part of the series of events being organised under “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” a pledge taking ceremony on ‘World No Tobacco Day 2024’was organised by Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Committee of the college.
Teaching staff, non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers and other college students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm, fervour and zeal.
The activity was organised under the supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Gupta, Principal of the college. The event commenced with the welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Anoop Kumar Bhagat, Nodal Officer, Nasha Mukht Abhiyan Committee. Heemphasized upon the message of saying no to tobacco among the college students and the faculty as consuming tobacco leads to serious health issues.
The programme was coordinated by Prof. Anita Jamwal, Prof. Mamta Gupta, Dr. Anoop Kumar Bhagat (Nodal Officer, Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Committee) and Prof. Ritu Bhagat. It was organized by Prof. Poonam Kundan, Dr. Manoj Heer, Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, Prof. Meetu Sharma and Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo.’
