| Dr Jaffer chairs Governing Body meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti | | Hospital Development Fund at CHC Sankoo |  Kargil,August 01 (Scoop News)-Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Kargil Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today chaired the Governing Body meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) and Hospital Development Fund (HDF) at Community Health Center (CHC) Sankoo.
During the meeting detailed discussions were held on various agenda points for the years 2024-25 including renovation of immunization section, bio-medical waste, storage repairing, construction of deep burial pit, repairing and insulation of water connection, installation of fire extinguishers and smoke detector, purchase of sanitary items, repairing & maintenance of electricity, hardware repairing and maintenance, ambulance shed, staff sport field, IEC board as per NQAS, iron stair for emergency exit way at first floor, purchase of drugs under Ayushman Bharat, purchase of X-ray equipment, labour engagement for separation of waste at store centre, part-time electrician and transportation charges.
Block Medical Officer, Sankoo, Dr Zahida Khatun, who is Member Secretary of the Governing Body of Rogi Kaliyan Simithi gave a detailed presentation regarding the achievements and requirements of the hospital and also submitted agenda points.
Block Account Officer (BAO), Mohd Ali Hashmi presented details about financial position under Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Hospital Development Fund and Ayushman Bharat.
The CEC, who is also the Chairman of Rogi Kalyan Samiti, announced a grant of Rs 4.5 lakh for CHC Sankoo to be used for maintenance and other miscellaneous works.
