| DLSA Kargil organizes 3rd National Lok Adalat | |
Kargil, September 14 (Scoop News)-As per the direction of Ladakh Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority Kargil today organized 3rd National Lok Adalat in which five benches were constituted for different kinds of cases pending in the Courts like Criminal Compoundable matters, Cases Under Section 138 NI Act, MACT cases, Bank recovery cases, Matrimonial disputes and other civil cases etc.
The first bench was presided over by Malik Shabir Ahmad Ld. Chairman DLSA/Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil and Adv. Syed Mehdi Aga Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Kargil, second bench was presided over by Wangial Tsering Sub-Judge/Special Mobile Magistrate 13th Finance and Delden Angmo Ld. Munsiff / JMIC Sankoo, third bench was presided over by Imran Hanif Chairman TLSC/Munsiff/JMIC Drass and Tehsildar Drass, fourth bench was presided over by Assistant Commission Revenue Kargil and Tehsildar Kargil and fifth bench was presided over by SDM Zanskar and Tehsildar Zanskar.
A total number of 701 cases were referred to the National Lok Adalat out of the same total number of 658 cases were disposed of and out of the same an amount of Rs 1,29,050 was recovered as settlement amount and an amount of Rs 1,70,150 was recovered as fine.
