Congress to establish Refugees welfare board,resolve other issues:Ravinder


Jammu,September 30 (Scoop News)- JKPCC Senior Congress leader Mr Ravinder Sharma has said that the establishment of Refugees welfare board as promised by Congress will go a long way in resolving pending issues if refugees and appealed them to vote for Congress.

Interacting with refugees of 1947,1965and 1971 in a series of meetings in Jammu and Kathua districts , Mr Ravinder Sharma said that congress has accepted their long pending demand for the establishment of a separate Refugees welfare board to resolve their long pending issues and frame policies for their youths.Besides the financial package recommended by Congress NC government on the initiative of Congress & instructions of Dr Manmohan Singh will be fully implemented.
The Bjp government betrayed the POJK refugees by sanctioning only meagre packagruog 5.5 lakhs against thirrty lakhs and snatched rights to sell their land.The recommendations for reservation of refugees wards has been ignored and against promise of eight assembly seats,only one seat has been kept for,14 lakh population.

He said that Congress has consideted all genuine demands of refugees and promised in its manifesto for assembly electioms. There is also a scope for seeking political representation in the proposed upper house in the quota of inadequately represented sections.
Mr Sharma was himself co - author of congress manifesto and has assured to strive for justice to the community,if congress is elected to power and appealed to the voters to give full mandate to congress NC in this election.He appealed to them to vote for congress NC candidates contesting in R S Pura,Bishnah,Suchetgarh, Jammu West,Jasrota,Hiranagar,Basohli,Billawar,Hiranagar and elsewhere.
