Srinagar, October 06 (Scoop News)- Senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and former Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Haji Mubarak Gul, has strong condemned the derogatory remarks made by Swami Yati Narsinghanand against the beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
Expressing deep concern over these inflammatory statements, Gul characterized Narsinghanand as a "big blot to the communal harmony of country." He urged the Government of India to take immediate action, calling for the swift arrest of Narsinghanand to uphold the dignity of religious sentiments.
"We cannot tolerate this kind of mentality against our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A W)," Gul stated emphatically. He underscored that such blasphemous remarks pose a direct threat to the fabric of communal harmony and social peace.
Gul recalled that Yati Narsinghanand has a troubling history of making inflammatory statements and was previously arrested for hate speech. "In light of his latest remarks, I demand the authorities take immediate action to arrest him and revoke his bail.
