| Chairman TLSC Sankoo chairs meeting to address traffic congestion, parking issues in Sankoo | |
Kargil, October 15 (Scoop News)- In order to address the traffic congestion and parking issues in Sankoo, a meeting was convened today at the office of Munsiff Sankoo. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman TLSC Sankoo/ Traffic Judge Kargil Deldan Angmo and attended by Tehsildar Sankoo ( in charge SDM) Asgar Ali, Ex. En. Suru Valley Division Sankoo- Syed Mehdi, SHO Panikhar- Insp. Manzoor Ahmad and in charge Police post Sankoo, Stanzin Lhadol.
During the meeting, the Chairman, accompanied by the concerned officers, conducted a site visit to the new taxi stand, apart from several potential parking spots were identified.
The Chairman also directed the concerned officers to expedite the establishment of paid parking areas in proximity to the market to facilitate better traffic management.
Furthermore, the establishment of a legal aid clinic was discussed. Ex. En. Sankoo promptly allocated a room at SVD Sankoo for this purpose.
Additionally, SHO Panikhar was assigned the responsibility of enhancing the enforcement of traffic regulations within the Sankoo market area. This collaborative effort aims to alleviate the existing traffic and parking challenges, ensuring a smoother flow of vehicular movement and better accessibility for the community.
