| CITU condemns killing of migrant worker at Shopian | |
Srinagar, October 20 (Scoop News)- CITU has condemned the killing of a non-local labourer who was shot dead by unidentified militants in Wandana Malhora area of Shopian district yesterday.
Terming the killing “barbaric”, CITU leader Ab Rashid Pandit has said such incidents must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
He urged the authorities to provide compensation to the victim's family and provide a safe and secure environment to the migrant workers working in the region.
