Kargil, November 05 (Scoop News)-The New Districts Committee of Ladakh, chaired by Pramod Kumar Jain (IAS), convened a meeting at Conference Hall, Baroo, to discuss the formation of new districts in the region.
The committee, led by Chairman Pramod Kumar Jain, included Shri Kacho Asfandyar Khan, Shri Tsering Angchok, and Deputy Commissioner/CEO of LAHDC Kargil, Shri Shrikant Balasaheb Suse.
Several delegations, including Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya, Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Anjuman Ahl Sunnat wal Jamaat, and representatives from Aryan Valley, Shargole, Bodh Kharboo, Anjuman Sofia Noorbakshia, Anjuman Behbude Sadaat Kargil, Bharatiya Janata Party, Aam Aadmi Party, JKNC, Anjuman Sahib Zaman, as well as representatives from Shakar Chiktan Subdivision, Chulichan, Gargardoo, GM Pore, TSG Block, and Sout, participated in the discussions.
The delegations comprised Councillors and village elders who presented their demands and suggestions for the formation of new districts, both verbally and in written form.
The committee assured the delegations that their concerns and proposals would be given due consideration.
