| Delegation from Ladakh Mountaineering & Adventure Club call on CEC Tashi Gyalson | |
Leh, November 09 (Scoop News)-A delegation from the Ladakh Mountaineering & Adventure Club led by its Chairman, Sonam Wangial, called on the Hon’ble CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson at the LAHDC Secretariat, Leh.
The delegates informed the CEC that the Ladakh Mountaineering and Adventure Club and the University of Ladakh signed an MOU in October 2023 to organise adventure activities such as rock climbing, trekking, river rafting, river crossing and rescue operations.
They also informed the CEC that they organised a 10-day rock climbing course for university students at the Shey Smanla Rock Site of LMAC in Leh. They requested Hon’ble CEC to provide equipment and financial support for the club so that the club can organize training programme for local youths.
The Hon’ble CEC assured the delegates for all possible support from the council and suggested for an MoU.
