| DC reviews security at key infrastructure projects in Reasi | | emphasises workers' safety as priority | Reasi,November20 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan chaired a meeting here today to review security at key infrastructure projects in the district. SSP Paramvir Singh was also present at the meeting.
The DC emphasised that worker safety is the top priority of district administration and instructed executing agencies to ensure proper record-keeping and strict adherence to security protocols at all sites.
The DC reviewed security at key major infrastructure projects like the Delhi-Katra Expressway, railway tunnels and GREF roads. He directed the installation of high-mast lights, CCTV surveillance and asked to maintain visitor registers at entry points. He also stressed the need for proper demarcation and security of residential areas to restrict unauthorized access, ensuring a robust safety framework for ongoing projects.
The DC highlighted that regular visits and ground assessments of project sites will be done for checking any negligence. SSP Reasi also assured that frequent police visits to enhance security will take place.
Chief Engineer KRCL Sumit Khajuria, OC GREF 57 RCC Lt Col. Preetham, NHAI representatives, representatives of the Ropeway Project, OC 110 RCC Mahor Aditya and other concerned attended the meeting.
