KPCC Chief Concludes two days tour of Rajouri


Rajouri,November 27 (Scoop News)-JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra today interacted with workers during series of meetings at Shadra sharif,Thannamandi, & Sunderbani while concluding his two days tour of Rajouri district .
Shri Karra paid obeisance at Shadra Sharif holy shrine and prayed for peace,harmony and brotherhood in the society.
He interacted with people & workers at various places and listened to their views .The people expressed satisfaction over the holding of assembly election's after ten years and formation of coalition government but expressed concern over delay in the restoration of statehood,as a result the elected government is without sufficient powers.The people are eagerly waiting for the restoration of full statehood for redressal of their grievances especially unprecedented unemployment and huge taxations besides the multiple harassment due to unreasonable orders/ circulars of UT administration.
The Congress workers assured full support to the PCC Chief to revamp and re-organise as well as re- structuring of the party at grass roots level to strengthen the party.They told him that they are committed to the ideology of the party and will defeat the designs of communal & divisive forces.
Mr Karra interacted with the senior functionaries of party,block Presidents & other prominent leaders and workers including PRIs and assured them to give chance to the dynamic and young leaders,women at different levels in the party.
He asked them to prepare for a full fledged struggle to get the status of full fledged statehood and for safeguarding the rights to land,jobs and natural resources for the people.
Mr Karra was accompanied by the senior Congress leaders of district Rajouri.
At Sunderbani Block Presidents NC Sharma,S Ajit Singh,Tirth Ram Sharma besides Yog Raj Sharma, Rajesh Jamwal,Dr Naresh,Kasturi Lal,Babu Ram Bhagat,Beopar mandal Presidents Pankaj Raina, Pamma Sharma represented the views of party workers and general public and highlighted the demands of the area.
