PSAJK President condoles on demise of eminent social, religious leadeerHafiz Rashid Ahmad Banday


Srinagar, December 10 (Scoop News)- The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), led by its president, G N Var, expresses profound grief over the passing away of eminent socio religious Edu leader and scholar Hafiz Rashid Ahmad Banday “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.” The deceased was brother of PSAJK’s District President for Poonch, Waheed Ahmad Banday, and the son of Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Qadir Banday, the esteemed founder and patron of Jamia Islamia Arabia Zia-ul-Uloom, Poonch.

Hafiz Rashid was a towering figure in socio religious education and spirituality, whose life exemplified righteousness and dedication to service. His pivotal role in managing the administrative and developmental affairs of Jamia Islamia Arabia Zia-ul-Uloom earned him immense respect within the community. Revered as the "Mother of Knowledge," the institution thrived under his visionary guidance.

Var further said, "Hafiz Rashid Sahab’s contributions extended far beyond academics. He was a beacon of guidance for his community, embodying the principles of faith, humanity, and compassion. His unwavering commitment was evident in his regular service at Jamia Masjid Bagyalan, where he ensured a peaceful and welcoming environment for worshippers."

The entire PSAJK executive body, its office bearers, district presidents, and school members extend their heartfelt condolences to Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Qadir Banday, Maulana Saeed Ahmad Habib Sahab, Master Waheed Ahmad Banday Sahab, Khalil Ahmad Banday Sahab, and the entire Banday family. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family, the faculty and students of Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom, and all those whose lives were touched by Hafiz Rashid Sahab’s noble deeds.

In this time of mourning, we offer our prayers for the departed soul. May Allah (SWT) forgive him, grant him Jannah-ul-Firdous, and provide strength to the grieving family to bear this irreparable loss. Aameen.

As we reflect on his legacy, the timeless words resonate: "علم والے تو زندہ رہتے ہیں، ان کے چراغ ہر زمانے میں جلتے رہتے ہیں۔" ("The people of knowledge live forever; their lamps continue to light every era.")
