| Laugakshi Samarasta Charitable Trust distributes warm Sweaters in Jagti Township | |
Jammu, January 15 (Scoop News)-At an impressive yet glittering function held at Govt Middle School Jagti,This function on the eve of Makar Sankranti (Shishur Sankrati), Pongal, Bhihu,in which the Members of Laugakshi samarasta charitable trust (regd) felicitated Fifty Students of this School.The function was attended by the staff of the School and in presence
of the whole staff members of the school and full student strength the organisers highlighted the importance of today's function viz a viz importance of all the festivals being observed all over India.
It was in connection with today's festival of kashmiri Pandits, Shishar Sankranti being observed today, the organising Committee distributed warm sweaters amongst the most deserving and needy students of the School.
Shri Rajinder Premi ,National Convener, justice for Kashmiri pandit victims of Genocide, was the Chief guest on the function, Who in his address highlighted the importance of today's function corresponding to other festivals of today. He interalia stressed the need for inculcating moral & ethetical Education amongst the school going children.He laid emphasis on maintainence of a healthy parent teacher relation,for a result oriented relationship.
The Function was organised by"Laugahshisamastra Chairetable Trust, an organisation working for social welfare & women empowerment of the migrant community.The function was also attended by the Office Bearers/Management of Lagahksi organisation :-
