We will never accept any interference from neibouring countries: APSCC | |
Srinagar, January 16 (Scoop News)-Reacting to the statement of Labour party MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi in the House of Commons in UK claiming involvement of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher led conservative government in operation blue star the All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee said that don't appreciate the meddling of foreign governments and legislators in the internal affairs of the country. In a statement APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said that the community has always been critical of Pakistan establishment's statements regarding India more so when it concerns the affairs of the minorities in the country. Raina said that same holds true with the views expressed by the British MP even though he belongs to the Sikh community. "Issues raised by outsider leaders about our nation are rejected by every Indian national. We have many political and economical disparities in the country but we will fight the same democratically. We will never accept any interference from neibouring countries and far away countries as well, " said Raina. The APSCC Chairman said that no probe was ordered in Chattisinghpora episode that led to unfortunate killing of 35 sikhs. He said despite this the sikhs in Kashmir still looking forward for justice. Raina said that the APSCC has never given up its demand of a probe even though 25 years have passed after the Chattisinghpora episode. He exuded that this demand will be fulfilled sooner than later. He said that minorities of the country should be united and find a solution to the their problems within the Indian judicial system.
