| Shamsher Singh Manhas role model for BJP workers: BJP Leaders | | 
Jammu, January 21 (Scoop News)-Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of Shamsher Singh Manhas, a veteran BJP Leader, Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, said that the Shamsher ji would continue to inspire lakhs of BJP workers in Jammu & Kashmir.
Sat Sharma said that the untimely departure of Shamsher Singh Manhas has created a permanent void in the organization.
Shamsher Singh Manhas who initiated his journey as a dedicated social worker served as a Pracharak. After joining politics, he played his role as one of the founding members of BJP in J&K. He served as the BJP Yuva Morcha president in 1997, former J&K BJP President from 2009-2012 and Rajya Sabha Member from 2015 to 2021. He also served as the National Vice-President of BJP Kissan Morcha, Sharma said.
Sat Sharma added that he had the opportunity to work on his side for 3 decades and had served as the General Secretary in his term as the party President.
Sat Sharma said that the party will always remember Shamsher ji for his invaluable contributions in the organization. He expressed heartfelt condolences to his family and prayed to God to give Moksha to the noble soul and strength to his loved ones.
Shamsher Singh Manhas dedicated his life to the people of Jammu Kashmir: Chugh
Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh expressed deep sorrow over the demise of veteran BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas. Chugh stated that the passing of Shamsher Singh Manhas is a significant loss for the party and the region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chugh added that Manhas joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1980 and was one of its founding members. His organizational skills and unwavering dedication to the party played a pivotal role in strengthening the BJP. He served as the Jammu and Kashmir BJP State President from 2009 to 2012 and as a Member of the Rajya Sabha from 2015 to 2021.
Chugh remarked that Manhas's life was a testament to his commitment to the ideals and principles of the BJP. His leadership and guidance will continue to inspire us. Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Chugh prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
