Sat Sharma files nomination for the post of BJP State President


Jammu, January 23 (Scoop News)-Sat Sharma, President of Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party today filed nomination papers for the post of State President of the party at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Sat Sharma, submitted nomination papers to Sanjay Bhatia, Returning Officer (RO) for State President’s election in presence of Shrikant Sharma, National Observer for the organizational elections under the ongoing “Sangathan Parv” of the party at the national level. Later, Saudan Singh, BJP National Vice-President also joined the election process.

Ashok Khajuria, former BJP President, Rakesh Mahajan, State RO for organizational elections were also present on the stage.

Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha), Er Ghulam Ali Khatana, MP (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy CM, Kavinder Gupta, former Dy CM, Ravinder Raina, former State President, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, state Council members and other eligible voters for the state Presidential election were present on the stage.

Eligible BJP workers also filled the forms for the BJP National Council Member from Jammu & Kashmir.

Sanjay Bhatia, while talking to the media persons on the occasion, said that Bharatiya Janata Party has the distinction of practicing total internal democracy, which is the hallmark of democratic principle in the organization. He said that after a fixed period, the party gives a chance to every dedicated party worker to serve the party on a post best suited according to his or her capabilities. In the run up to the organizational elections for the state president, earlier there was a detailed process of the elections for the mandal presidents and the district presidents in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Sat Sharma CA, who is serving as the nominated state president of J&K BJP, submitted his form today in presence of other senior leaders.
