| JKHEU President pays tribute to Dr. Lateef Bhat on his first death anniversary | |
Srinagar,January 24 (Scoop News)-On the first death anniversary of Dr. Lateef Ahmad Bhat, the brother of Mr. Rouf Ahmad Bhat, Under Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, J&K Government, a heartfelt gathering was held to honor his life, legacy, and contributions. Friends, family members, and colleagues came together to remember his remarkable journey, his selflessness, and his enduring impact on those around him.
Dr. Lateef Ahmad Bhat was not only a man of intellectual but also a source of inspiration for many. His dedication to his profession and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His wisdom, humanity, and generosity continue to serve as a guiding light.
Suhaib Munshi, President of the J&K Handicrafts Employees Union (JKHEU), in his message, stated "Dr. Lateef Ahmad Bhat was a person of immense integrity and a true humanitarian. His life was dedicated to serving others, and his memory will remain alive in our hearts forever. May Allah grant him eternal peace and bless his family with patience and resilience."
Sheikh Abdul Majeed, General Secretary of JKHEU, also paid tribute, saying "The loss of Dr. Lateef Ahmad Bhat is immeasurable, but his legacy is equally profound. He was a man of character, kindness, and humanity, who will be remembered for his noble deeds. We pray for his magfirat and for Allah to shower His blessings upon him in the hereafter."
During the condolence meeting, special prayers (Dua-e-Magfirat) were offered for the departed soul, seeking Allah’s mercy and eternal peace for him in the hereafter. The attendees collectively prayed "May Allah (SWT) grant Dr. Lateef Ahmad Bhat the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give his family strength to bear this irreparable loss."
The commemoration concluded with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and an emotional remembrance of Dr. Lateef Ahmad Bhat’s immense contributions to his family, friends, and society. May Allah grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous and solace to his loved ones.
