| GDC Samba Organizes Blood Donation Camp Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan | |
Samba,March 20 (Scoop News)-The NCORD Cell, NSS, and NCC Units of Government Degree College (GDC) Samba, in collaboration with the Health and Family Welfare Department, Samba, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp, within the college campus. This initiative was conducted under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, to promote awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and a drug-free society. On this occasion, around 30 number of students and staff members came forward to donate blood, showcasing their commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian service. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, reinforcing the spirit of selfless service.
Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal of the college, addressed the gathering and motivated students to contribute actively to such noble causes. She emphasized the significance of blood donation in saving lives and commended the volunteers for their generous act.
The camp was coordinated by Dr. Papinder Kumar (ANO), Prof. Rajni Devi (ANO), and Prof. Kamlesh Bala (NSS PO), who ensured smooth execution of the event. Medical professionals from the Health and Family Welfare Department, Samba, facilitated the donation process, ensuring proper medical care and safety protocols.
