Sunderbani, March 29 (Scoop News)-Former MLC and Senior Congress leader Mr. Ravinder Sharma has sought the attention of the government towards development and creation of facilities for pilgrims at the ancient Meenka Mahadevsthan in Sunderbani.
Mr. Sharma visited the holy Devsthan at Meenka Mahadevsthan alongwith a team of senior Congress leaders and social acitivists and paid obeisance at the holy devsthan and interacted with local social & religious activists and pilgrims.
They expressed gratitude to the former MLC for his keen intrests in the development of area by construction of Dhok Banyad Meenka road, construction of Hall at Devsthan from MLC fund and sanctioning of a health center at Meenka while demanding upgradation of facilities at Devsthan for pilgrims. Highlighting the demand of people and Mr urged the government to create facilities for the pilgrims at the holy place under pilgrim tourism as crores of rupees are being spent to promote tourism and pilgrimage.He demanded a Yatra hall, kitchen shed and dormittory for short stay to boost economic activity.
