| DCC Jammu urban convenes monthly meeting at Congress Office Jammu | | Jammu, April 03 (Scoop News)-District Congress Committee Jammu Urban under the leadership of Th. Manmohan Singh conducted its monthly strategy meeting at party headquarters Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu to discuss prominent issues.
The meeting was presided over by Shri Raman Bhalla, Working President JKPCC and attended by Senior Congress leaders S/Shri Yogesh Sawhney Ex-Minister, Ved Mahajan Ex-MLC & I/C HQ, Rajnish Sharma Treasurer PCC, Satish Sharma, Vijay Shastri, Ricky Dalotra I/C HQ.PYC, District Office Bearers, Block Presidents, Ward Presidents and other prominent workers of the party. In the meeting District Congress leaders discussed public related discuses as well as the strategy to fight for restoration of statehood.
Speaking on the occasion, Working President Shri Raman Bhalla said that centre Government promised time to time to restore statehood without delay especially after assembly elections but now, the centre has no interaction to fulfill the promise. He said that the people will have to fight for their rights and getting back their status, dignity as a full-fleged State. He asked Block and Ward Committees to garn support of the people for achieving the goal of early restoration of Statehood.
Shri Yogesh Sawhney, Ved Mahajan suggested various strategies and programs to strengthen the Congress Party’s groundwork in Jammu District. They urged the party functionaries at all levels to continue taking steps in the direction to strengthen the party at the grass root level. They said that the genuine needs of the public should be addressed openly and that they should enable the public to recognize the ruses of the BJP and its divisive policies.
Th. Manmohan Singh President DCC (U) Jammu while concluding the meeting laid stress upon the participants to broadcast the policies and programmes of the Congress Party and coordinate the efforts in strengthening the party cadre in every nook and corner of the Jammu city.
Meanwhile, several youths of Jammu East joined the Congress Part here today at PCC HQ. Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu in the presence of PCC Working President Shri Raman Bhalla, Yogesh Sawhney, Ved Mahajan, President DCC (U) Jammu Th. Manmohan Singh, DCC Functionaries Sonu Dogra, Pawan Dev Singh, Sat Pal Sapolia, Som Raj, H.S.Bagi, Ajay Kumar, Sanjeev Katal, Chander Shekhar, Latish Sharma, Darshan Verma, Praveen Singh, Saohit Sharma, Amit Gupta and Reshu Kumar.Those who Joined the party include Ashish Kohli, Babar Chib, Amarjeet Singh, Sohan Lal, Jaskaran Singh, Agan,Furkan,Tafiq, Surjeet Singh and others.
