Police organizes drug de-addiction awareness programme in Baramulla


Srinagar, April 03 (Scoop News)-To strengthen awareness and community engagement, Police in Baramulla, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, Shri Altaf Ahmad Khan-JKPS organized a drug de-addiction awareness programme at Govt Degree College Baramulla. The event aimed to educate students about various social evils prevailing in society, especially the harmful effects of drug abuse.

Prominent speakers at the event including SHO Police Station Baramulla, Sh. Rishabh Shukla-IPS, DySP PC Baramulla Ms. Rupali Singh-JKPS, Principal GDC Baramulla Dr. Neelofar, HOD Psychology Dr Nasir Ahmad, Mohd Ashraf and Ms. Uzma Qureshi PDDC. They addressed the gathering and highlighted the ill effects of drugs and the importance of responsible citizenship. They urged students to remain vigilant and play an active role in spreading awareness about the menace of drug abuse within their communities.

Police remains committed to its mission of eradicating drug addiction and safeguarding the future of young people through continuous awareness campaigns.
